My Squeezebox Boom has been the main conduit for music in my home for some three years years. I have several of them throughout the house, all synced with each other, and it's been great. My server runs on OS X Lion.
However recently I have noticed a new problem. When playing back a gapless album, in particular a continuous DJ mix album, there is a noticeable transition between the tracks. It's not so much a gap, rather an unevenness in the tempo. Like the new track is slightly delayed. This used to work great. My music library has not changed. Gapless albums that previously played back fine, now have awkward track transitions. I suspect this was introduced in a recent server software or firmware upgrade. * Is Logitech aware of this?
