I'm using 160-256kbps AAC for everything. I have not changed any formats or re-ripped anything recently. The very same files that worked flawlessly before, now don't. And they still work flawlessly if I play back through iTunes, or on my iPhone.
And it is not so much a glitch, but rather the beat "stumbles". The timing is off by a fraction of a second.
