What are the walls and ceiling made of? Even though you've covered the 80% of the floor, the rooms seems rather "naked" - a lot of hard surfaces. Try locating where the echoing is worst - clap hands and move about and install damping accordingly. If thats not enough, you have a good ceiling height, so it should be possible to install absorbers in the ceiling.
Consider that you're lucky with no/little bass problems.
