ok. so all works fine running local LMS with triode's spotify. And of course the official logitech spotify app will NOT work at all with the duet. It will only work on TOUCH or RADIO. With logitech spotify app, it should work when you are connected to mysqueezebox.com and playing the TOUCH (not synched to duet). So this is where your problem seems to be. I'm not sure what the android controller app has to do with the problem, but leave that out of the loop for now. What happens when you select the official spotify app FROM THE TOUCH SCREEN MENU itself (via "my apps" > spotify).
