I have 1 Touch and 1 Radio in use.

Since I was thinking about buying another Radio for quite a while now, I
just bought 2 more Radios of which I'll put one aside as a spare. (BTW,
Amazon.de currently offers 20% discount if you buy 2 items from a
selected list of Logitech products.)

But I'm in doubt whether I should buy a Touch as a spare, assuming that
a Touch without any stressed mechanical parts will last much longer than
a Radio with its knobs.

How long do you think it can last? 5 years, 10 years or even more?

In addition, a post in another thread expressed what I'm also feeling:

Even if it doesn't look so now, in several years there might be an
attractive Touch replacement and Logitech might have added an option to
avoid being always connected to uesr.com for playing local music. Today
we know that the Radios can be upgraded then, while the Touch can not.

On the other side, the Touch is connected to my main HiFi, so if it
really breaks one day I'll definitely need a good replacement.

So I'm torn between buying or not.

To Buy or not to Buy: That is the question!
