Has anyone yet attempted the manual downgrade approach on a Smart Radio, i.e. one that was purchased as such and not one that started life as a Squeezebox Radio? If such a downgrade (or depending on your point of view, 'upgrade') is possible then we'd at least have a source of replacement hardware, even if it's currently pricier than the Squeezebox version.
It seems like this is a slightly less risky experiment. If a Smart Radio always tries to convert back after being converted to a Squeezebox, then you'd be no worse off than when you started. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chill's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=10839 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97242 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
