The only thing which maybe of importance is that the power to the nas was withdrawn for circa 24 hours. I never usually turn it off of standby. This was because wife flicked the wrong switch at the wall when we were away over Xmas. That in turn could've reset something on the router as it would have lost the nas on its device list. I'll change the nas' fixed IP address and see if that works. I guess it's after the power outage it hasn't worked....
