I am tempted to buy at relatively little cost an Android cell phone with wifi to use as a remote for my Touch. I have no interest in using it as a phone, I have never owned a cell phone before. My question is can I somehow download the appropriate app to use it as a remote when I have not any paid coverage and can I use it as a wifi remote in likewise fashion?
