If you're interested, you can configure your laptop to wake up in the middle of the night and let LMS run a full rescan. Just set the rescan time and type in LMS web (Settings > Advanced > Rescan Music Library), and use 'WakeupOnStandBy' (http://www.dennisbabkin.com/wosb/) to resume your PC a minute before the scheduled scan.
