So assuming you connect your SB digitally (I do), it's really only two boxes (VAMP + USB->S/PDIF converter) vs. one. Why is this box going to have the sound-quality equivalent of a VAMP + $500 USB to S/PDIF coverter? Trust me, I can appreciate the Boom/Radio. I have a total of 4 of those! But I'm thinking the VAMP/USB converter/powered speakers would fit the bill OK for me in a pinch.
