I think I'm being mis-quoted slightly...  I see the way Wandboard and PI
work with all code on a removable card very useful for a project such as
this - it means that its impossible to brick the device, if all else
fails you can take the card out, rewrite it and get back to a fresh
system.  This was the reason I was arguing for the OS to go on an
SD/microSD card.  This is what we have with the wandboard.  [In contrast
the internal fixed flash of the SBT means you have a much more complex
rescue proceedure if you do mess it up - something I believe we have
avoided!]

As for how we distribute them and whether its a download which people
then flash themselves I think we need to look at.  The Raspberry PI has
been reasonably sucessful getting to over 1m units with this approach
though...
