The point is that a display is not enough the device itself could be busted and the power supply ok , or the software could be bricked no display no network connection no ssh no ligth out the toslink ? So to separate power failure from device failure a power led could be usefull . But a very dim small gren led on the backside would do that nicely . Maybe just maybe also an Ethernet connector with tiny LEDs to indicate that something happens when conecting a cable . But some Ethernet conector LEDs are very bright I had to paint the ones on my Netgear Ethernet switch with black nail polish otherwise it looks like fireflies behind the hifi :/ only consider this if it can be done with dim LEDs . ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mnyb's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4143 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=97881 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
