To avoid confusion and disappointment, our focus now initially isn't the
old Squeezebox models (Classic, Boom, Transporter, Duet). We have a
working beta prototype towards the newer models (Radio/Touch) and we
have some ideas how we could support the older models, but at this stage
we don't want to guarantee that the older Squeezebox hardware will be
officially supported. Support for the older models is a matter of time
and priorities, but hopefully some third party developer might be
interested to implement support for the older models even if we wouldn't
be able to prioritize it in the beginning ourselves.

You will very likely notice the difference between how your Squeezeboxes
works today compared to how ickStream works, but the changes will
hopefully be a positive experience. ickStream is a whole new concept,
it's not just a simple replacement for mysqueezebox.com.

We can't comment on individual services at this stage, but generally we
want to support as many as possible as early as possible. It's mostly a
matter of getting a commercial agreement with each service provider and
this will take some time so we will have to prioritize some services in
the beginning and add the other ones in a later phase. Some service
providers won't even start a discussion until you can prove that you
have a significant amount of users using the system. For services which
have an open API, it will also be possible for third party developers to
add support if we for some reason can't prioritize it ourselves.
