What type of music file are you trying with? You are using the exact same song all the time? I don't understand your UMTS to WiFi scenario. SqueezePlayer runs on your Android device. So if you set it as an access point, you are not testing SqueezePlayer anymore? Or do you try playback via some iPad streaming App like SqueezePad or iPeng then? If that is the case, please enter the server settings (and there player settings). It could be, that bitrate limiting is setup for your iPad player but not for the Android player (as its a per player setting).
