Hi, I just purchased SqueezePlayer and installed it on my HTC One. Great stuff!
I use SqueezePlayer to access my SqueezeBox Touch that runs a Tiny SBS server (streaming music from an USB stick). This works fine remotely if I open ports 9000/3483 on my router. The problem is that I have not found a way to set a user/password for the Tiny SBS server to prevent unauthorized access via these ports. As you may know, Tiny SBS does not have the web interface of the standalone server version. Any advice on this? Alternative approach: I could access the SqueezeBox via VPN using its local IP address. In this case, there would be no need to open the ports. Do you think this is a better idea? Thanks a lot for your help.
