The main differences in my view are it (1) only supports 802.11b wifi, which means it _will_ slow down 802.11g or 802.11n networks, (2) only supports WEP for wifi security (not WPA), and (3) only support for 10Mbps ethernet. Also, I am not sure if the SB1 supports mysqueezebox.com, or even if it has native support for FLAC.
