There is no standard you have to set the genre tags yourself just like many other tags . Sometime the ripping software sugest no genre at all or the commercial file you bought did not have any or ( a pet peeve of mine ) the artist invented some new cool genre :~ . In general treat the delivered/ripped tags as suggestion and at least spend a minute or 2 when adding stuff to check them .
