As I've understood, the current idea is that you will be able to get the
CommunitySqueeze board and use it together with your previously
purchased Wandboard, so based on this I would say that getting a
Wandboard isn't a bad idea if you think you might be interested in
CommunitySqueeze hardware when it's ready and are able to assemble it
yourself.

The analogue output from the standard Wandboard isn't that good.
Using the standard Wandboard with an external USB DAC creates very good
audio quality already today.
Using the standard Wandboard together with the CommunitySqueeze hardware
sounds like it's going to be excellent based on what the people who have
tried it says, definitely superior to the Squeezebox Touch, but if you
hear the difference or not depends on your amplifier, speakers and
ears.
If you plan to run both LMS and playback on the Wandboard itself, I
would recommend that you at least get the dual core but possibly it
might be worth to even get the quad core version to ensure you have some
extra resources if needed.
