I think that is the case. I use Orange Squeeze Preview on both my phone (Galaxy Nexus) and my 7" tablet (Nexus 7). On the tablet I get a 3x3 grid of albums when I choose My Music/Albums. However on the phone it is single column with thumbnails of albums on the left and the album title and artist to the right.
