Yes, didn't take it as that. Just trying to explain.

I think it has always been a good idea that neither Stefan with
SqueezePad nor I with iPeng have ever really tried to copy each other's
App. They both have very different design ideas which means they cater
to very different users. Which is good. Better have two Apps that
completely different users like than having two similar Apps which are a
bad compromise and don't really fir anybody.

Yes, and as I said: I was well aware of it and it definitely wasn't
good.

Well, at the same time nothing tests as well in usability tests as
simple, deep, text-only menus :)
Why? Because you can understand them simply by reading them and that's
what people find "intuitive".
They really start to get on your nerves after a week when you are used
to an App and they are boring and just holding you up but no usability
test ever tests for so long....

So iPeng has it both ways. This icon view is strictly optional, much
like in the old Twitter App. Here's the "startup" look. To get to the
view above, just move the whole content area to the left with your
finger....

Sure. Although landscape view has a few additional options not available
in portrait, but I need some more news to fill the next week with ;)

Now... Nobody noticed the tiles? Meh... so much work...
