If your files are properly tagged and organized with LMS running on a decently powered computer your Search results should be very snappy. LMS is running on your Mac Mini, correct? 4 TB drive connected to same Mac Mini? Anything besides music files on this drive? Mac running any other program/process besides LMS? Mac Mini is wired to router?
