I use both Squeezepad and iPeng as controllers and players. On my iPad 3, I prefer iPeng 7 - it has a lovely clean interface. on my old iPad 1, where the choice is between the older iPeng and Squeezepad, I much prefer Squeezepad, as I think it's UI is better and easier to use. But of course, all three work fine for my purposes.
