Searching the forum shows lots of hits for this error message but none of the suggested solutions that I've been able to find solve my problem.
I used my Transporter with a wired connection for 4 or 5 years but about 4 months ago I moved it and was using it with a wireless connection. I'm trying to get it to work with a wired connection again but am getting the error message "Ethernet appears disconnected". The first thing I did to check out the problem was plug my Squeezebox Touch in with the same cable and it functions properly. After initially using the left arrow button to get back to the Transporter Setup menu I tried a Factory Reset and a Xlinx Reset. I've reset the router several times as well as restarting my computer. I use DHCP instead of static addresses and have done so for 7 or 8 years without problems. My server is version 7.7.3 on a Mac running OS10.7.5 and the Transporter firmware is 87. Can anyone give me a hand?
