I'm not going to upgrade to LMS7.9 yet. 7.9 has quite a lot changes all the time. Is it stable already?.
Not stable as in "officially declared stable". But while you're correct, there are quite some changes every now and then, overall I'd consider it pretty stable. I can't remember the last crash. A hiccup now and then, which I'm usually trying to fix asap.
I actually haven't had time to try it even. What would be the benefits?
Faster scanning (very much with larger collections and enough memory), faster web UI browsing, faster Browse Music Folder, some new features like Browse by Album Artist, Browse Random Albums, return of Browse Music Folder while scanning, browse folders without importing them into the database...
