Sounded so tempting that I had to try. The update to Daphile went pretty
smoothly. There seemed to be some really good improvements. Excellent
work, thanks Michael! I didn't notice any problems on quick tests.
However I could not find the "Browse Random Albums" feature. I used the
latest nightly build (7.9.0 - 1410966819).
Below are the download links and instructions to use this pre-release
version of Daphile.
If you have full installation of Daphile, you can upgrade to the
pre-release version as follows:
- go to http://daphile/cgi-bin/Devel on your Daphile PC
- copy the following link text (either x86_64 or i486 version) to
input field besides the "Install" button
http://www.daphile.com/tmp.CXGION7npB/daphile-14.09-b180642-i486.iso
http://www.daphile.com/tmp.CXGION7npB/daphile-14.09-b180642-x86_64.iso
- press "Install"
- reboot
This version has the ssh server, VT2 console login and root password
enabled ("zaq" without hyphens).
