Well, if you look at the details of the Home Hub (and read my note), you'll see it can connect with systems using infra red AND Wi-Fi, so the lack on IR in the receiver should NOT be a problem. To quote Logitech's site: "Home Hub sends commands from the mobile app to your devices using *IR*, _*Wi-Fi*__or *Bluetooth*® wireless signals."
The system will even scan your wi-fi network, but it doesn't seem to find the the Duet - I assume because it isn't included in their IR-focused database - maybe they'll update it, but it's a shame they don't even cover one of their own former products.
