Using XP on any system that isn't fully isolated from outside interference (e.g., internet, removable storage media) is HORRIBLE security practice. Basically, there are very few scenarios where continued use of XP is justified. Essentially, it's justified for companies which buy Microsoft's expensive custom support plan or for medical or military computers with tightly regulated data access. Chances are there's already malware on your system. I strongly advise you run OFFLINE scans (where the scanner boots from CD or a USB stick) several times a week. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ poing's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=63617 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103062 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
