I have felling/speculation that they expected much more of it to fast . Shortsigthed they proably wanted to use resources on projects who could deliver faster .
Logitech sells mouses and keayboards in the millions . It must have been resonably profitable at a limited niche scale but they must have expected it to be an instant goldmine .
