I uninstalled LMS completely, rebooted, ran a registry cleaner,
re-installed latest (todays) 7.9, still won't start.
Turned windows firewall off, uninstalled antivirus, rebooted,
re-installed LMS, won't start, 2 or three flashes of the tray icon, no
dos box like you usually see.
