A raspberry Pi with digital output and picoreplayer. You can buy a fully built one from a source on eBay. Although they are overpriced from there. Depending on where you are in the world I am sure you will find someone on here who will build and ship you one for less. Alternatively an AMazon Fire TV with SB Player app. It has an optical out but unfortunately you do have to have it connected via HDMI.
