Hi and thanks, I have played around and subsequently f****d it up and want to know how to unf**k it without reinstalling it all :-) What confuses me in alsamixer is all the different options such as deemphasise , mute volume ( oxymoron if ever there was one ) Ah well despite having joined the workers, marched with the masses, manned the barricades and lots more in the sixties it looks like I've got to do it again. :-) We can't stop here this is bat country.
