That's all true .was just hoping something good would come even if licensed . I google some , but let me ask this lazy question is their any particularly good CCA enabled device out there that you recommend ? Music streamers are in some particular hell imho . There is no widespread standard protocol ? Instead it s isolated islands like this CCA and apple doing thier stuff Sonos have thier niche etc. And I f dlna was thought to be that standard ,well it does not seem to be working . You who do code . Is ther anyone thinking about some open player protocol ? I take a guess that slimproto or what it's called for our squeezeboxes actually are that open . That someone could write players and servers .
