You think your network is nice and simple but actually troubleshooting a problem would be quite difficult. It would be a lot easier if you had a dhcp server in play and just had an appropriate static IP address for your LMS PC. Some of us do this stuff for a living and know how to do it properly. I could fix the IP on your Joggler in 20 seconds but the point is I know that's not the correct thing to do. The correct thing is either to make it all one network (home plug) or swap the switch for a wired router that has no internet connection but crucially does include a dhcp server. The transporter doesn't need a fixed IP address only the PC with LMS does. *Vortexbox LMS 7.9 music on QNAP TS419p via NFS* iThingys/iPeng/Tablets *Living Room* - SB3 -> Onkyo TS606 - > Celestion Ditton F20s - Zone 2 -> Sony TA FE 320 -> Sennheiser RS 130 & B&W P7 *Office* - RPi -> Sony TA FE320 -> Celestion F10s / SB3 -> Onkyo CRN 755 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes *Dining Room* -> SB Boom *Kitchen* -> UE Radio (upgraded to SB Radio) *Bedroom (Bedside)* - SB Touch -> Topping TP21 -> AKG Headphones *Bedroom (TV)* - Amazon Fire TV (SB Player) -> Topping TP20 -> Wharfedale Modus Cubes ------------------------------------------------------------------------ d6jg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=44051 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105960 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
