That is odd, I have the same entry in my scanner log as you have, but there no such delay. I see you have approx 100k files. I have over 150K files so the number of files shouldn't matter. Do you have some more info about your setup? What machine are you running LMS on? Is your Music DB located on the same machine? How is your network configured? What is the typical organisation of your folder structure? What file format are you using? MP3, FLAC, everything?
