I have very much the same symptoms with one of my SB3s and have tried
similar things to you without success:
- Different power supply (from another working SB3)
- Removing wireless LAN card and using Ethernet
- Reseating module that wireless LAN card plugs into
When turned off, it never seems to have an issue (though to be honest I
haven't sat and stared at it for a long time), but during playback of
MP3s or streaming podcasts, it often reboots within 10-15 mins and needs
nudging to start playing again (from the beginning of the last track).
So I've temporarily "retired" it and moved on to an SB Touch that was
underutilized in another location. I'm glad I have a big supply of these
things :)
