It sounds like your new phone isn't joining your WiFi network properly, since your other Android phone works fine. On your phone if you go to settings > Wi-Fi > xxxnet it should show you the IP address of your phone, if you compare that to the server address the first three numbers should be the same:
Server 192.168.0.x Phone 192.168.0.y Old phone 192.168.0.z Also, check to see if you can surf the internet using WiFi only. "You know, I'm all for progress. It's change I object to."
