Bringing up this old thread, because I was trying to figure out the differences and/or links between the Squeezebox "Radio" menu item and the "Tunein Radio" App.
I've found several Australian stations are no longer playable on Tunein Radio App (eg. 'smoothfm 91.5' http://tunein.com/radio/smoothfm-915-s87180/) but they play fine under Squeezebox Radio menu item. This is also where I found there is a linkage between the 2. The Radio "My Presets" match the TuneIn Favorites. So, there's obviously some linkage between the standard Radio item and Tunein - but for playback the TuneIn App can't handle some streams. For now I've dropped back to using the standard Radio item. Given the stream limitations, when would I want to use the Tunein Radio App?
