My LMS volume levelling has recently been changed from Smart Gain to Album Gain, following the reccomendations in https://octo.hku.nl/octo/repository/getfile?id=qLlZPGSVXFM, which has also been implemented by Tidal, so the leap in volume really doesn't make any sense ...
