The two most common problems with SB3, by far, seems to be WiFi boards and power supplies losing steam. You can find decent aftermarket PSUs with the right connector from China for "peanuts", and if you can run wired then you can just remove the WiFi board. Either of those fixes seem to revive the majority of SB3s. If you have a Touch you can try with that PSU, it should work, or maybe someone you know have a SB you can borrow a PSU from and see if it helps.
