Yes that is all it is. But very annoying. You must not listen to many live albums (or things like the Beatles Abby Road (side 2) or Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon). For me, the most annoying is a really nice live album with a cool transition from one song to the next (think Grateful Dead) and then you get the break with a second or two of silence.
