Sounds like a good use for an alarm clock. It goes off, you wake-up and plug in the server, which detects time for the SqueezeBox to come on. :-) Or get a low power PC and just leave it on? I never turn mine off, I figure that the stress on starting and stopping exceeds any savings in power.
