If you guys have another compatible PSU around, try that first. Although it's more than likely the PSU is not the culprit in this case, there have been other faltering Squeezebox devices that were remedied by a new PSU. Some Touch's for example have had remote control issues and certain owners did some soldering to repair it. However, other owners with the exact same issue were able to correct the problem with a new PSU.
