Quite right ... I must have skipped that when reading original post. Maybe try to find a SHOUTcast compatible player for that iOS version and tell it to play h t t://lmsIP:9000/stream.mp3 Then control it via Material ... but I cannot remember if that version of iOS would let streaming audio play in background.
