SB Classic uses same firmware with and without WLAN card. SB Classic firmware is installed and updated by LMS.
Note sure what you mean by " flashed it with a programmer ". When WLAN card fails - usual action is to replace with an identical model - no need to flash. Plenty of replacement available either new or 2nd hand.
