The SB Classic can work with no WLAN card.

A bad / broken / incompatible WLAN card will stop a SB Class from
working.

Do NOT flash / reprogram a replacement WLAN CARD

1. Remove WLAN card and connect SB Classic with wired Ethernet to LMS.
2. Check SB Classic powers up and connects to LMS.
3. LMS will upgrade firmware if required.
4. Open SB Classic, insert WLAN card, close and check SB Classic powers
up.
5. If SB Class does not power up or powers up and then crashes - WLAN
card is bad / broken or incompatible. Get a compatible WLAN card.
