When 2.* initially was available , user had to add a respository and migrate to it as it did not support all variants of HLS. Now PlayHLS V2. is mature, it is the preferred version but V1. remains available for user who have "need" for it (e.g.special mods) I thought V2 was available in 3rd parties plugin (I moved some plugins earlier this year into 3rd parties) but I can't find it - so either I made an error or the update has got lost. Add the following repository http://bpa-code.github.io/bpaplugins/repo-playhls-v2.xml I don't know if 2.8 will solve the problem but it will remove ffmpeg which may also be "old" and possible part of the problem. 2.8 will remove unnecessary transcoding and so be more efficient and if problem persist easier to trace. > I have a repository from you added which is > http://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/bpaplugins/betarelease-repo.xml. > Could this be an issue?
