An update, which is also reflected in post #1.
The ASUS RT-AX55 routers in mesh mode, separate 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, and WiFi6 turned off were compatible with the SB Radios. However, since there was strange behavior which could be hardware problem I returned them. I am thinking about a simpler set-up with just one Rt-AX56 and other changes to improve security of internet of unsecured things.
