That's usually an easy fix. The 'jiggle' problem is usually that the male center pin on the boom itself no longer mates nicely with the female center V-groove on the power adapter. While they're unplugged from the mains, pinch the outside of the V-shaped female center of the power plug a fraction with a tweezers.
