May I start by saying that this forum is amazing and I have used your community support many times since buying my first slim devices squeezebox many moons ago. Over the last 18 months or so, this first squeezebox became unstable, and kept rebooting mid-song. I changed the power supply, did the squeezebox xilinx reset, changed to various versions of the Slimserver software but the problem continued. Eventually I cut my losses and bought a new (second hand Logitech one) that is in fine fettle but now the same issues are occurring. I have done the reset again, changed to 8.3, moved the power from an extension lead direct to its own wall socket but the issue persists. My boom in the kitchen that I have has a different issue where the display switches on and off (so I do not always know what is playing) but the music seems more stable. The Boom is further away and on Wifi. The V3 Classic issue is the same if I use WiFi or LAN. >From searching, I see there is mention of a Wifi card problem but it seems unlikely that 2 units from different 'eras' would have the same issue. I do not know if it my ears another issue is the occasional glitch sound on this new unit and occasional I swear the timing of the tracks goes awry. It seems more unstable than before. I love all these devices but do not know what to do to get things running smooth again. Any ideas anyone? Maybe the old unit will be find to if the issue lies elsewhere!
