Some additional info:
LMS and the music files do not have to be on the same box (although they can be). The music files simply have to be accessible somewhere within your network. Also, LMS only scans the folders that you tell it to scan (see below). I previously had my music files on a shared network drive and I now have them on a NAS. I have LMS on a Raspberry Pi running Max2Play - https://www.max2play.com/ . You could also run it on any of your Windows computers (maybe even your Windows Home Server). Squeezelite (or Squeezelite-x) would go on any of your computers that you want to play music on (whether or not they have LMS installed). It looks like MusicCast supports Airplay so you could use philippe_44's AirPlay Bridge plug-in to stream your music to your Yamaha.
